A special performance accompanying the launch of Sonia Farmer’s latest book of poetry, The Best Estimation in the World, took place at The Current Baha Mar Gallery & Art Center on October 6th, 2019.
A collaboration with Shakespeare in Paradise 2019, the performance starred D. Sean Nottage, Joey Gaskins Jr., Beaumont Todd, Yasmin Glinton, and Malesha Joseph. Morphing into different roles and taking on the range of voices drawn from the eighteen poetic interviews in the collection, the performers emphasized the insidious fluidity that the hospitality industry demands from its workers.
