Sonia Farmer’s interpretation of Shivanee Ramlochan’s seven poem series, “The Red Thread Cycle” will be on display in an exhibition of book works inspired by published writing, “Opera Verbis: Works From Words” at the Gates Reading Room Gallery in the Denver Public Library, as soon as lockdown restrictions are lifted in Denver, Colorado due to COVID-19.

Curated by Abecedarian Artists’ Books, “Opera Verbis” exhibits artist’s books that engage with existing published work. In the call for works, Abecedarian Artists’ Books mention: “Of particular interest is work in which the content has been conceptually developed and expanded beyond its original form, that uses the text source as a starting point for content development.”
