Beryl Edgecombe interviewed Sonia Farmer about Poinciana Paper Press on “Dem Bahamians”, a TV show sponsored by the Bahamian American Cultural Society INC and aired on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network.

Sonia was visiting New York City in 2013 to launch “Saltwater Healing” by Angelique V. Nixon. Beryl also interviewed Angelique about her book published by Poinciana Paper Press, capturing some footage of the launch evening itself at Bluestockings Bookstore.

While in New York City, Sonia had the opportunity to lead a creative writing and bookmaking workshop with a group of second grade students in the Police Athletic League from the Armory Center in Harlem. Their experiences of the workshop were also broadcast on a separate episode of the TV series.
